Oregon Giant Pea Seeds – Snow
‘Oregon Giant’ produces a huge number of premium 4-5 inch, sweet, mild, crunchy pods. The 26-30 inch vines need no support. Perfect for stir frys, or freezing. Snow peas are meant to be harvested when the pods are flat, before the pea seeds develop. Resistant to powdery mildew, Fusarium wilt, and mosaic virus.

Name: Snow Peas ‘Oregon Giant’
Botanical Name: Pisum sativum ‘Oregon Giant’
Days to Maturity: 67
When to sow outside: 4-6 weeks before average last frost.
Harvesting: Snow peas should be picked before the seeds start to form. Peas that are too mature are tough and will cause the plant to stop producing; therefore, harvest regularly when pods are at their peak. Use scissors to harvest or hold vine with one hand and pick the pods with the other, as the vines are brittle.
