Sugar Ann Pea Seeds – Snap
‘Sugar Ann’ snap peas are a favorite for good reason. This compact, 18 to 24 inch, disease resistant pea vine needs no trellising. It produces good yields of 2 1/2 inch, light green pea pods earlier than any other snap pea. Eat fresh from the garden, pod and all! Easy to grow.
1 oz. seed packet
Name: Snap Peas ‘Sugar Ann’
Botanical Name: Pisum sativum ‘Sugar Ann’
Days to Maturity: 58
When to sow outside: 4-6 weeks before average last frost.
Harvesting: Snap peas should be harvested when the pods are plump. Peas that are too mature will cause the plant to stop producing; therefore, harvest daily. Use scissors to harvest or hold vine with one hand and pick the pods with the other, as the vines are brittle.
