Name: Snap Peas ‘Sugar Snap’
Botanical Name: Pisum sativum ‘Sugar Snap’
Days to Maturity: 66
When to sow outside: 4-6 weeks before average last frost.
Harvesting: Snap peas should be harvested when the pods are plump. Peas that are too mature will cause the plant to stop producing; therefore, harvest daily. Use scissors to harvest or hold vine with one hand and pick the pods with the other, as the vines are brittle.
