Herb Garden Seed Kit,

This Herb Garden Seed Kit comes with everything you need to start your own herb garden at home. Kit includes: 6 coco fiber pots, 6 soil pellets, 6 wooden plant markers, and 6 seed tins filled with herb seeds.

Herb varieties include:

Italian Large Leaf Basil - large green leaves and that signature basil flavor - the most common and well known basil.

Cilantro 'Slow Bolt' - one of the most used herbs in the kitchen – it can be added to soups, sandwiches, salads, and all kinds of Mexican dishes. Harvest leaves often, as cilantro is quick to bolt!

Chives - add a subtle onion flavor to foods. Great for containers, and can be grown indoors for year-round harvest

Lemon Mint - crush or rub the leaves and enjoy its distinctive citrusy-lemon scent. Leaves can be used raw or cooked for flavoring in salads, cooked foods, and tea.

Flat-Leaf Parsley - adds a fresh, tantalizing flavor to many foods. A kitchen staple for sure.

Mammoth Dill - particularly good for pickling, foliage is also delicious sprinkled on potatoes, tomatoes, salmon, spinach, cucumbers and meats.

Planting instructions are also included, and everything is packaged in a stamped muslin bag (approx. 6x8").

This kit makes it easy to get your own herb garden started - just add water to the soil pellet, wait until it expands, then add the seeds. Mark each pot with label provided, and you should have little herb sprouts in approximately 7 -20 days (depending on temp. and type of seed). This kit is designed for indoor use to get your seeds started. Once the seeds have sprouted and begin to grow, they will quickly outgrow their small fiber pots - at this time they will need to be transplanted either outdoors directly in the ground, or into a larger pot. The larger pot can be placed outdoors, or be kept indoors on a bright windowsill. Harvest herbs regularly to promote continuous growth.
